Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
“Yay, Gravity” sounds sarcastic, silly, or maybe like something youâd say after tripping over your kidâs toy for the third time in a row. But the more I sat with it, the more it started to feel like a little whispered prayer of gratitude.
Gravity is the reason we donât float off into space, but itâs also the reason our lives have shape. Gravity gives us structure. It keeps things in orbitâliterally and figuratively. And sometimes, when everything feels out of control, saying âYay, Gravityâ is a way of saying âThank you for holding me down in a world that constantly wants to spin.â
It reminds me that being grounded isn’t always a burdenâitâs a kind of blessing.
