Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
Today’s Thought of the Day lands on Father’s Day, and it’s not about perfection, heroism, or any cinematic ideal. It’s about the details: the quirky sayings, the smells in the garage, the way he folded the Sunday paper or never quite finished that backyard project.
We don’t need to be perfect to be remembered. We just need to show up and keep showing up, in our own human, messy way. That’s the legacy. It’s built moment by moment, and one day, if we’re lucky, someone will tell a story about us that starts with, “My dad always…”
