Sing to me of the man, Muse, the man of twists and turns…
Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
Homer’s opening line from The Odyssey reminds me that life isn’t about moving in straight lines. It’s about detours, delays, and the stories that come from them. Some days I feel like I’m walking a mythic path—with coffee instead of ambrosia, toddlers instead of sirens, and a calendar that feels more like a labyrinth than a schedule. But still, I walk it. And maybe that’s enough to earn a little song from the Muse.
