Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
I used to be covered in awards—trophies, certificates, the works. But these days, no one’s handing out medals for waking up at 3am to comfort a kid with night terrors or resisting the urge to yell when life keeps pressing your buttons. Lately, I’ve been failing more of those character tests than I’d like. But I’m still here. Still working on it. Still building something better—quietly. And maybe that’s the good life Percy was talking about.
