Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
This one hit me with a quiet thud of truth. Think about it—we all have a running list of human foolishness. It’s the stuff of memes, news headlines, and family group texts. But when’s the last time you tried to explain courage? Not the kind in movies. The kind you actually see?
Valor is subtle. It doesn’t announce itself. It walks quietly, often without thanks or recognition. It shows up in sacrifice, in silence, in those little moments where someone chooses to do the hard thing simply because it’s right.
Explaining folly? That’s easy. Explaining valor? That requires knowing the full story—and not many people stick around long enough to listen to that.
