Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
How often do we equate brilliance with fame? Like if you’re smart enough, talented enough, or driven enough, the world will automatically roll out the red carpet. The truth is, there are probably more bright ideas sitting in dusty notebooks than there are in any museum or best-seller list.
It’s a comforting thought in a way—like permission to keep going, even if the world doesn’t notice. It’s a reminder that sometimes the work itself is enough, even if no one’s clapping at the end.
It also makes me think of all the brilliant people I know who keep their lights on low. Maybe they’re not interested in being seen, or maybe the world just hasn’t caught up to them yet. Either way, their brilliance is real. And that’s enough.
