Question and Thought for the Day March 3, 2025
Question of the Day: What’s one thing you thought you’d never get used to, but now feels normal?
Thought of the Day: …the worst enemy you can meet will always be yourself. Friedrich Nietzsche
The Worst Enemy You Can Meet Will Always Be Yourself. — Friedrich Nietzsche
We like to think that our biggest challenges come from the outside—difficult people, tough circumstances, or unexpected obstacles. But more often than not, the hardest fight we’ll ever face is against the person staring back at us in the mirror.
Self-doubt, fear, old habits, and deeply ingrained narratives can do more damage than any external enemy ever could. The mind has a way of creating barriers, convincing us that we’re not capable, not ready, not enough. And yet, somehow, we push through.

What Used to Feel Impossible Now Feels Normal
Think back to something that once seemed insurmountable. Maybe it was speaking in public, waking up early, navigating parenthood, or simply finding the courage to say ‘no.’ At first, it felt impossible. But then, over time, you adjusted. It became routine. Normal, even.
That’s the beauty of resilience—it sneaks up on you. Growth doesn’t usually come in big, dramatic moments. It happens in the small, repeated efforts. One day, you look up and realize that the thing you once feared is now second nature.
The Battle Continues
Even though we overcome obstacles, new ones always arise. The mind will find fresh ways to challenge us, to keep us in our comfort zones, to whisper doubts just when we’re on the edge of something great. But here’s the truth: you’ve already proven you can handle it. If you’ve conquered old fears before, you can do it again.
