If Monday is the villain and Friday is the hero, Wednesday is… the confused supporting character just trying to keep the plot moving.
But maybe that’s what makes it special.
The best thing to do on a Wednesday, honestly, depends on the kind of week you’re having. Some weeks, the best thing is simply to survive it — check your email, reheat your coffee, pretend you’re making progress. Other weeks, it’s the perfect day to sneak in a small win: finish that project, go for a walk, or text someone you’ve been meaning to reach out to.
Wednesdays are like mirrors. They show you where your energy’s gone — and what’s left. If you’re dragging, maybe you’ve been saying yes to too much. If you’re flying, maybe you’ve finally found your rhythm.
For me, the best thing to do on a Wednesday is pause long enough to actually notice it. Not rush through it, not wish it away, but see it. Because once you start seeing the middle of your week as something meaningful, it stops feeling like an obstacle and starts feeling like a checkpoint.
And if all else fails? Have tacos. Or a nap. Or both. You’ve earned at least one.
