Question of the Day:What is ONE positive word you would use to describe yourself?
This question works best when it’s asked early.
Before the inbox fills up.
Before you’ve been measured by productivity or patience or how well you handled something you didn’t expect.
Before the day hands you labels you didn’t ask for.
Choosing one word isn’t about branding yourself. It’s about orientation. It’s about deciding how you want to stand in the day before it starts pulling you in different directions.
For me, the word is steady.
Not dramatic. Not impressive. Just true.
Steady is continuing when things feel slow. Showing up even when progress isn’t obvious. Staying present without needing applause or reassurance. It’s building something day by day without knowing exactly how it will turn out.
I didn’t always see steadiness as a strength. For a long time, I thought momentum had to look loud to count. But I’ve learned that aim matters more than speed, and steadiness is how aim survives over time.
That realization shows up clearly in the larger reflection tied to today’s Question of the Day and Thought of the Day. If you want to read the full piece, you can find it here: Start Your Day Before Your Day Starts – Thought of the Day and Question of the Day.

Take a moment before you answer. Let the word be honest instead of aspirational. The right word won’t feel flashy. It will feel grounding.
