What do you love about the summer solstice?
Let’s be real—I love that it’s over. The days only get shorter from here, and I’m a big fan of early sunsets, lower expectations, and being asleep by 9:30.
But sometimes questions like this tell us more than we expect.
Maybe you love the summer solstice for the way it feels like permission: to stay up late, to take the long road home, to linger in the light a little longer. Or maybe you’re like me—quietly celebrating the turning point back toward cooler nights and dimmer evenings. There’s no wrong answer. Just sunlight, perspective, and a chance to reflect.
