Question of the Day
What do you hope to accomplish by the end of 2025?
Thought of the Day
Busy is a great place to hide.Busy Is a Great Place to Hide
Every day, the world tells us to be busy. Hustle harder, grind more, fill every waking moment with something—anything—to prove our worth to the invisible scoreboard we all seem to be playing against. It’s the glorification of “busy” that keeps us constantly moving. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself: What am I moving toward? Or better yet, what am I running from?
The truth is, busy is often a great place to hide.
We hide behind our packed schedules because it’s easier than facing the things that matter. It’s easier to reply, “I’m just so busy” than to say, “I’m scared.” Scared of failure. Scared of slowing down. Scared of what we might see if we stopped long enough to really look in the mirror.
We say we’re busy, but are we busy doing the right things? Or are we busy with distractions? Are we working toward our dreams, or are we hiding behind tasks that feel important but actually keep us from doing the deeper, harder work?
Here’s a challenge for you: Stop hiding behind busy. Slow down for a moment and ask yourself the real question. The one that matters.
What do you hope to accomplish by the end of 2025?
I’m not asking about your to-do list or your next project deadline. I’m asking about the bigger picture. Where do you want to be at the end of this year, or next year? Who do you want to be? What do you want your life to look like?
If you’re not intentional about your goals, the world will gladly fill your time with meaningless tasks. But if you get clear on what you want to accomplish—and why—you can break free from the hiding place of busy.
So, what’s your answer?
Drop it in the comments if you’re brave enough to share. Or, keep it close to your heart if that feels right. But don’t let the noise of “busy” drown out your voice. Make 2025 the year you step out from behind the curtain of busyness and take real, intentional steps toward what matters most to you.
Let’s make the next 12 months count.
