This afternoon, I was thinking about what I wanted to post about tonight, my day at the office was wrapping up.
I had some ideas and I know what I’m going to post on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, but I wasn’t sure about today.
Looking around my work station, there’s now a picture sitting on my desk. It was a gift from my supervisor. When I saw the picture staring back at me, I marveled at the thoughtfulness of the gift.
You don’t need to be extravagant when it comes to giving gifts.(If the other person expects you to be over the top, you may want to re-evaluated the situation). Simple gifts given with great heart mean so much more.
As you wrap the gifts this holiday, ask yourself, did this come from my heart or am I just phoning it in because the receiver expects something?
