Question and Thought for the Day February 10, 2025
Thought of the Day: Bad things can happen but that doesn’t stop you from doing good things.
Question of the Day: If sarcasm burned calories, how fit would you be?
The Gym Membership I Would Actually Use
There are a lot of things in life that don’t make sense. Pineapple on pizza? The jury’s still out. People who don’t use turn signals? Unforgivable. The fact that sarcasm doesn’t count as cardio? Absolutely tragic.
If it did, I’d be walking around with abs so sharp they’d cut through glass. A lifetime of witty comebacks, dry remarks, and eyebrow raises should at least count for some definition, right? But no. Instead, we’re left sweating on treadmills while the universe denies us the very thing that would make fitness effortless: letting our personalities do the work for us.
The World Needs More Good, Even If It’s Drenched in Sarcasm
Now, while sarcasm alone won’t get us to peak physical condition (unjust, really), it can be a tool for survival. Life throws punches. We dodge, weave, and sometimes take a hit square to the face. But even when things go south, we still have the choice to do good things.
Bad days happen. Disappointments are inevitable. But being kind, helping others, or even just making someone laugh? That’s always an option. And if that kindness comes with a side of sarcasm? Well, that’s just efficiency.
So go ahead—sharpen your wit, perfect your deadpan delivery, and fire off that perfectly timed quip. The world needs people who can laugh through the chaos. And hey, even if it won’t burn calories, at least it’ll keep things entertaining.
