Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
This one hit me between the eyes—because how many times have I had a “brilliant” idea that fizzled out before lunch? Turns out, most big wins don’t come from some lightbulb moment. They come from showing up. Again. And again. And again.
The things that quietly change your life usually don’t come with applause or dramatic theme music. They come from flossing. From writing for 10 minutes. From walking past the fridge. From saying “no thanks” when your future self needs you to be a grown-up.
Habits are the compound interest of self-respect. That doesn’t sound sexy, I know. But it works. The next time you’re tempted to wait for the right idea, try doing the right thing instead.
