🧠 Thought of the Day
“Be comfortable in your own skin because it’s illegal to wear someone else’s.”
Yes, it’s funny. But also: isn’t this the root of half our internal chaos?
We spend so much of life trying to slide into someone else’s version of success, style, body type, voice, or parenting method—only to end up itchy and unsure. You can’t build peace in a costume that doesn’t fit. And more importantly, you shouldn’t have to.
The older I get, the more I’ve realized the best days are the ones where I show up as myself. Unpolished, maybe. But real. Comfortable in my own skin—flaws, stretch marks, stubborn quirks and all.
