Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
Jimmy Buffett, in his laid-back, coconut-scented wisdom, somehow distilled the modern human condition into one sentence. And honestly? Same.
I don’t know whether I have a problem with indecision… but I definitely have a problem deciding whether I do.
Sometimes I second-guess everything. Other times I confidently plow forward and hope I guessed right. But most of the time? I’m just circling a menu, a major life choice, or a “Confirm Purchase” button like it’s a game of emotional roulette.
What I’ve learned, though, is that indecision isn’t always bad. It’s often a sign that we’re thinking deeply—or at least pausing long enough to want to get it right. In a world obsessed with speed, hesitation might actually be wisdom in disguise.
So today, give yourself grace if you’re feeling stuck. Even not choosing is a kind of choice. And if all else fails, channel your inner Jimmy and just float for a bit.
