Friday the 13th: statistically no worse than any other day, but a great excuse to cancel plans and blame the moon.
Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
This one reminds me that a lot of what we consider “bad luck” is just vibes and timing. Friday the 13th doesn’t actually do anything, it just gives us permission to lean into a little self-preservation and maybe opt out of whatever we didn’t want to do anyway.
Honestly, I love an external excuse. “Sorry, I can’t make it, mercury’s in retrograde, and the moon said no.” Is it silly? Sure. Is it sometimes exactly the kind of boundary-setting we need? Also yes.
So whether you’re feeling cautious, cozy, or just cosmically aligned with your couch, take the day slow. The moon’s got your back.
