Let’s be real—cursive writing and good manners.
Cursive quietly packed its bags and left when we weren’t looking. Remember when learning cursive was a whole school year and a rite of passage? Now it’s just… decorative font. There’s an entire generation that treats Grandma’s letters like ancient scrolls written in some mysterious code.
And manners? Holding the door. Saying “excuse me.” Making eye contact. We’ve traded basic courtesy for convenience—and most of us didn’t even realize it was happening.
But sometimes questions like this tell us more than we expect. They remind us what we’ve lost and what we might want to bring back.
