Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
This one hit me like a quiet truth I already knew but hadn’t faced.
I’ve had periods where apathy felt easier than effort. Where I told myself I was just tired or “protecting my peace,” when really—I was just numb. Not caring was less risky, less draining, and less honest. But you can’t build a meaningful life on indifference.
Caring—about people, about projects, about your own story—that’s what gives life texture. It’s what wakes you up in the morning with purpose instead of dread.
