Thought of the Day for May 3
“If I had the choice of knowing the truth or searching for the truth, I’d take the search.” — Walker Percy
Sometimes a few words are enough to shift the way we see the day.
There’s something beautiful—and maybe a little rebellious—about choosing the search over the answer. We live in a world obsessed with conclusions, hot takes, and “figuring it all out.” But Walker Percy reminds us that being in pursuit is where the growth happens. The searching keeps us honest, curious, and humble.
This resonates especially if you’ve ever felt like your certainty turned out to be a dead end. I’d rather be asking better questions than pretending I’ve found the final answer. That’s what we’re doing here every day.
